Balancing & Controller Support
Since I had just started at KING Art Games as a working student my responsibilities in the project were mostly balancing of smaller aspects of the game. One of these were the optional handicaps players can play a match with to gain a higher map trophy.

To start I looked at the available telemetry data for the maps on different difficulties to get a baseline for how hard handicaps should be. These were then tested and iterated upon to provide the experience target I had created together with the other designers.
I also updated all of the tutorials to ensure they were correct for both PS5 and Xbox controllers, created new tutorial images and helped create haptic feedback patterns.
Metagame Support
To help fill Iron Harvet’s season tree with content I worked together with artists to select a wide variety of unit skins that players can unlock by playing or spending currency.
